Job summary

Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong – Nowra NSW is seeking a temporary full-time Classroom Teacher from 28 January 2027 to 26 January 2028 to support diverse learners by designing educational/pastoral interventions.

You will support teachers, contribute to student wellbeing, and work under the Principal's direction; the role aims to grow faith and improve learning, helping students reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate commitment to the mission of a Catholic School.
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Apply knowledge of diverse student needs to support participation.
• Plan and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA(s).
• Use assessment data to inform student learning.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers to meet needs of diverse learners with interventions.
• Support student wellbeing and undertake duties as directed by the Principal.
• Assist in teaching as required and contribute to faith growth and learning.
• Engage with parents, carers and the wider school community.
