Job summary

Qualifications

• Current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Relevant qualifications in Education.
• Experience in Learning Support, Inclusive Education or Special Education preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review learning support programs to reflect best practice.
• Identify students at risk or needing additional classroom support.
• Assess and determine curriculum adjustments, including extension or remediation.
• Develop, implement and monitor targeted intervention strategies and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress and adjustments.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers and professionals regarding student support.
