Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Orange, NSW, is seeking a Dedicated Diverse Learning Teacher (Primary) to support K-6 students in an inclusive, faith-based environment. Qualifications

• Hold relevant tertiary teaching qualifications and current NESA registration.
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school, or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience implementing inclusive education principles and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate identification and support for students with additional needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement adjustments and Universal Design for Learning.
• Use assessment data to identify learning needs and monitor progress.
• Coordinate referrals, assessments, and SWAN Funding applications with families and professionals.
• Develop Learning Support Officer timetables and align with funded programs.
• Support implementation of RTI and Multi-Tiered System of Supports for literacy and numeracy.
• Assist with transitions and maintain risk assessments as required.
