Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education invites applications for the Diverse Learning Leader at St Marys Primary - Maryborough. The role leads inclusive education and MTSS, supporting student wellbeing and achievement across the school.

You will work with leaders, teachers and families to implement inclusive practices, analyse data to drive improvements, and coach staff to build capability, while ensuring BCE policies and education standards are met in a Catholic learning community.

Qualifications

• Full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Minimum five years teaching experience with inclusive education.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence (if required).
• Postgraduate qualifications in Inclusive Education (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of inclusive education practices across the school.
• Develop and evaluate data processes and supports that enhance outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
• Analyse student performance and wellbeing data to identify priorities and inform targeted interventions.
• Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and professional learning to build staff capability in inclusive education.
• Lead collaboration within school support teams to ensure equitable and effective student support.
• Foster positive partnerships with families, caregivers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with BCE policies and legislative obligations, including the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Disability Standards for Education (DSE).
