Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a dedicated role based in Bankstown, NSW, to strengthen employer connections and support job placements for participants. The role focuses on engaging local employers, promoting inclusive hiring, and helping participants overcome barriers to employment through a person-centred approach.

You will engage with community organisations, stakeholders, and service providers to strengthen referral pathways, generate registrations, and contribute to regional program growth,

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Employment Services or similar (or working towards).
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
• Proven experience working with vulnerable people and/or people with disability.
• Experience supporting participants to overcome barriers to employment using a person-centred approach.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employers and stakeholders.
• Experience engaging with community organisations and local service providers.
• Experience in employment services, case management or similar (desirable).
• Sales, business development or employer engagement experience (highly regarded).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance targets.
• Current driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with employers to create employment opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with local stakeholders, community organisations, and service providers.
• Support participants with workplace adjustments and ongoing employment needs.
• Deliver employer engagement and business development activities.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace.
• Generate direct registrations through proactive outreach and community presence.
• Support program delivery to achieve participant outcomes and service targets.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program requirements.
