Sureway Employment and Training is seeking an Employment Consultant to support a caseload of participants, promoting inclusive employment pathways in West Wyalong. You will partner with people with a disability, build confidence, and connect them with employers to achieve sustainable outcomes.

You don’t need direct industry experience but you must be curious, proactive, and capable of building strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be proactive and own their work, able to build relationships with participants and employers.
• Strong communication skills to engage diverse participants and stakeholders.
• Understanding of what employers need and how to promote candidates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with participants to set employment goals and action plans.
• Build relationships with local employers to create job opportunities.
• Match participants strengths to suitable roles and support before/after placement.
