Job summary

Afford is expanding its Inclusive Employment Australia program and seeks an Employment Consultant to help people with disability secure meaningful, sustainable employment. You will manage a caseload, provide person-centred support, and partner with employers to create inclusive pathways.

Role focuses on resume development, job applications, interview prep, and workplace readiness, with strong emphasis on compliance, travel for work, and building community connections.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disability or in human services.
• Strong case management and client-centred support.
• Ability to meet targets and KPIs.
• Diploma/Certificate in related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants with person-centred employment support.
• Assist clients with resume, applications, interviews and workplace readiness.
• Collaborate with employers and internal teams to create inclusive pathways.
• Conduct assessments and identify job customization opportunities.
• Provide post-placement support to maximise retention.
• Maintain accurate case notes and compliant documentation.
• Engage with communities and stakeholders to promote Afford's services.
• Monitor progress against KPIs and contribute to service quality.
