Job summary

St Mary MacKillop College in Canberra is seeking an Inclusive Education teacher to support diverse learners across two campuses: Padua in Wanniassa and St Peter’s in Isabella Plains.

The successful applicant will work with Inclusive Education Coordinators and Classroom Support Assistants to meet student needs, differentiate instruction, and foster an inclusive learning environment. Start date: 25 January 2027. BA/MA Teaching required with WWVP and TQI credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching.
• WWVP clearance.
• TQI registration.
• Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Apply pedagogical practices in Inclusive Education to engage students.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse abilities.
• Build and maintain relationships of trust and respect with students.
• Analyse and reflect on student learning data to maximise growth.
