Job summary

St Mary MacKillop College in Canberra is seeking a highly effective Inclusive Education teacher to support classroom teachers and diverse learners across two campuses. The role involves working with Inclusive Education Coordinators and Classroom Support to tailor instruction and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor/Master of Teaching, WWVP clearance, TQI registration, and accreditation to work in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching required.
• WWVP clearance required.
• TQI registration required.
• Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn Policy.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Apply inclusive education practices to motivate and engage students.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse abilities.
• Build and maintain relationships of trust and respect with students.
• Analyse and reflect on student learning data to maximise growth.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment for students and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues as a team member.
• Utilise strong literacy skills in written communication.
• Maintain highly developed organisational skills and commit to ongoing professional learning.
