Job summary

Woodcroft College seeks an Inclusive Education Officer to join the Middle/Senior School on a permanent, part-time, term-time basis. You will provide individual and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs and contribute to differentiated lessons under direction of teaching staff.

Role requires Certificate III in Education Support, experience with diverse needs, strong communication, and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Education Support is required.
• Experience supporting student learning, especially with diverse needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers and community.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
• WWCC and RRHAN-EC certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to support differentiated lessons and assessments.
• Implement adjustments and tailored strategies for learning, wellbeing and behaviour.
• Support development and review of Individual Learning Plans and student profiles.
• Deliver targeted support for students with identified needs such as autism spectrum and language disorders.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to Inclusive Education Program operations.
• Share knowledge and strategies to strengthen inclusive practice across the College.
• Participate in excursions and College activities ensuring students are supported.
