Latrobe Valley Enterprises – Traralgon VIC is seeking a Cleaner / Cleaning Team Leader to maintain cabins, amenities and common areas while guiding the cleaning team. You will help create an inclusive workplace where people can learn, grow and succeed together.

The role involves coordinating daily cleaning across cabins and facilities, supervising staff, and hands-on cleaning when needed. An emphasis on safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or supervising a cleaning, housekeeping or facilities team.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise daily tasks.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to undertake cleaning duties when required.
• Clear communication to explain tasks and expectations respectfully.
• Patient, supportive and inclusive approach to working with diverse abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily cleaning activities across cabins, amenities and park facilities.
• Allocating tasks and providing clear instructions to team members.
• Supporting and guiding team members, including supported employees, to develop skills and work safely.
• Monitoring cleaning quality and ensuring facilities are guest-ready.
• Demonstrating cleaning techniques and safe handling of products and equipment.
• Hands-on cleaning during busy periods or to cover needs.
• Monitoring supplies and identifying replenishment requirements.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues and hazards per procedures.
• Promoting a respectful, safe and inclusive team culture.
