Latrobe Valley Enterprises – Traralgon VIC is seeking a Cleaner / Cleaning Team Leader to maintain cabins, amenities and common areas while guiding the cleaning team. You will help create an inclusive workplace where people can learn, grow and succeed together.

The role involves coordinating daily cleaning across cabins and facilities, supervising staff, and hands-on cleaning when needed. An emphasis on safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction is essential.

About the role

As a Cleaner / Cleaning Team Leader, you will maintain the cleanliness of cabins, amenities and common areas while providing day‑to‑day guidance and support to cleaning team members.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating daily cleaning activities across cabins, amenities, shared spaces and other park facilities.
• Allocating tasks and providing clear instructions to cleaning team members.
• Supporting, guiding and encouraging team members, including supported employees, to develop their skills and complete tasks safely.
• Monitoring cleaning quality and ensuring accommodation and facilities are ready for guest arrivals.
• Demonstrating appropriate cleaning techniques, safe work practices and the correct use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Undertaking hands‑on cleaning when required, including during busy periods or to cover operational needs.
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and identifying replenishment requirements.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, hazards and incidents in accordance with workplace procedures.
• Promoting a respectful, safe and inclusive team culture where everyone has the opportunity to contribute.
• Communicating operational issues and cleaning requirements to the relevant manager.

About you
