Ngarri Primary School invites applications for a Classroom Teacher role in a diverse, growing community in Victoria. The successful candidate will contribute to an inclusive learning environment and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s values.

Special education trained applicants are preferred, and an incentive payment of $5,000 (pre-tax) may be offered after a minimum two-year employment period. Location: Victoria, Australia.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning; using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as required by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers and support colleagues in instructional practices.
• Contribute to school policies and priorities and support school improvement initiatives.
