Job summary

Chester Hill High School in south-west Sydney is seeking a Learning and Support teacher. The role requires unconditional full approval to teach and demonstrated experience with students with disabilities and SEND.

You will work within the school’s Learning and Support Team, collaborating with classroom teachers, SLSOs, parents and external agencies to develop and monitor personalised plans that improve literacy, numeracy and prosocial behaviour outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience teaching Learning and Support to Years 7–12.
• Ability to identify student needs via diagnostic data and implement personalised learning plans.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inclusive education, literacy, numeracy, and prosocial behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Work with teachers, SLSOs, parents/caregivers and external agencies as part of the whole-school L&S Team.
• Identify student learning needs through data; design and monitor individual learning plans.
• Deliver differentiated instruction to students with disabilities and SEND to improve outcomes.
