Job summary

Suncare Community Services is seeking a Support Worker to provide in-home and community-based care in the Hervey Bay region. This role focuses on helping older Australians stay independent and connected, delivering personalised support across local homes and communities.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9am-3:30pm (60 hours per fortnight), with travel between client homes and a driver licence required. Training, support and a values-driven, not-for-profit workplace are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home support based on care plans.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and promote healthy nutrition.
• Support social connection and community participation.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Transport customers within the community when required.
