Job summary

Ozcare in Bundaberg is seeking an In Home Support Worker to provide personalised care and assist with daily living needs across clients' homes.

You will work with a compassionate team, delivering care per individual plans, assisting with domestic tasks, and supporting residents to live their best lives in their own homes.

Applicants should have a warm, patient demeanour, reliability, and the flexibility to cover a varied roster, Monday to Friday, with a focus on safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or support roles preferred.
• Ability to follow personalised care plans and health instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Role

As an In Home Support Worker you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Undertake domestic duties which includes cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our residents' care

Role Requirements

• Current National Police Screening Certificate
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Current Queensland driver's Licence
• A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
• Must be available Monday-Friday
