Job summary

Suncare Community Services is seeking a qualified physiotherapist to deliver in-home care on the Sunshine Coast. You will provide hands-on treatments, exercise programs, hydrotherapy and mobility support to help clients stay independent at home.

We value client-centred, evidence-based practice and offer flexible, hybrid work arrangements. Applicants should have AHPRA registration, a driver’s licence, and a willingness to join a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with AHPRA registration.
• Experience supporting older people with physiotherapy care.
• Current driver’s licence and a car for work.
• Strong communication and empathy for home-based care.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on physiotherapy at clients’ homes, including tailored exercises, mobility support and hydrotherapy.
• Assess and plan therapy to improve strength, balance, and independence.
• Connect clients with group programs and health initiatives.
• Support multidisciplinary team members with expertise and documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement and better delivery of home-based care.
