Job summary

BlueCare in Australia is seeking a Personal Carer to deliver in-home community care across Murgon and surrounding areas. You will support clients to maintain independence, performing daily living tasks and following care plans.

The role involves travel between visits, assisting with activities of daily living, meal prep, and light housekeeping, under a not-for-profit salary packaging framework. Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent is essential.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work is essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits to clients in their homes.
• Assist with showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Provide care in accordance with individual Care Plans.
• Support clients with community-based recreational and social activities and appointments.
