Job summary

SA Community Care and Disability Contract seeks compassionate disability support workers for a female client in Christies Beach. The role involves in-home, 24/7 support with a rotating roster, including overnight shifts and comprehensive care needs.

You will provide personal care, nutrition support, and medication assistance while maintaining professional communication with the client and team. Training is provided, and long-term opportunities exist within a supportive provider.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in collaborating with people living with a disability with high complex care needs.
• Engaging person-centred in-home support with exceptional listening and professional approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support client in her own home with 24-hour dedicated team support.
• Assist with personal care, transfers, grooming and daily activities.
• Provide nutrition support (PEG) and medication administration as required.
• Communicate with client via communication board and maintain home cleanliness.
• Work within a collaborative team to ensure consistent care.
