Job summary

CQID is seeking a Child and Family Support Practitioner in Maryborough, Queensland to deliver intensive, trauma-informed therapeutic support for children and young people identified for in-home intervention. Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in social work or related field.
• Strong experience with kinship/foster care and case management.
• Ability to deliver trauma-informed therapeutic support.
• Knowledge of ATSI culture and Aboriginal Child Placement Principle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive, trauma-informed therapeutic support to children and young people.
• Strengthen placement stability and improve outcomes in collaboration with the Department.
• Provide targeted family support and capacity building for carers.
• Coordinate referrals, caseloads, assessments, and staff responsibilities.
• Ensure culturally safe engagement with carers and communities.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with policies and quality standards.
