Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking Home Care Support Workers to provide in-home assistance across Hills Shire and surrounding areas. The role covers light domestic tasks, personal care and transportation support in clients’ homes, with a focus on safe, respectful care and relationship building.

Applicants should hold a current Australian driver’s license with a reliable, insured vehicle, and be available to roster Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client awareness: build relationships with clients and their families, conduct client observations with ongoing support and training.
• Safety practices: adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe.
