Job summary
Just Better Care Gippsland is seeking experienced, qualified In-Home Care Support Workers to join our Gippsland team, delivering one-on-one care in clients' homes across Morwell, Warragul, Drouin, and surrounding Latrobe Valley and West Gippsland.
You'll help aged care and disability participants live independently with dignity, performing personal care, domestic assistance, meal prep, and social support, with shifts starting from 2 hours and occasional weekends.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and/or at least 6 months' paid experience in aged care or disability support.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Australian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Proof of working rights in Australia
- Availability Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm
- Based in or near Morwell, Traralgon, Rosedale, Maffra, Sale, Warragul, Drouin or Bairnsdale
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to participants in their homes.
- Assist with domestic tasks to maintain independence.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs.
- Offer social support and help with community access.
- Transport participants to appointments and activities.
