Job summary

Summit Health Solutions ACT Pty LTd in Canberra is seeking an Allied Health Assistant (Physio/Exercise) to deliver personalised in-home exercise programs under the direction of physiotherapists.

You will support strength, balance, mobility, and functional activities, document outcomes the same day, and communicate progress to the supervising physiotherapist. The role offers potential to move into Part-Time or Full-Time, with a focus on safe, client-centered care at home.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Exercise Science or Physiotherapy is required.
• Working With Vulnerable People Check and Professional Indemnity Insurance are required.
• Reliable car and driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, 1:1 in-home exercise sessions following Allied Health Professional‑designed programs.
• Support strength, balance, mobility, stretching, and functional activities.
• Complete clear, same-day clinical documentation.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
• Work within a clear scope of practice to deliver high-quality, client-centred allied health services across the community.
