Job summary
Empower Healthcare is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to deliver tailored home-based physiotherapy across Sydney’s St George and Sutherland Shire regions. You will work under an Allied Healthcare Professional to implement multidisciplinary care plans for musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory clients.
You will collaborate with other health professionals, educate clients and families, and maintain records while prioritising patient-centred outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is required or
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy with AHPRA registration is required.
- Police Check Clearance is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored physiotherapy treatment plans for home care clients.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.
- Educate clients and families to optimise healthy living at home.
- Maintain accurate records and provide patient reports.
