Job summary

Summit Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in Canberra across community settings, home modifications and assistive technology. The role focuses on practical, client-centred solutions and detailed reporting for funding and care planning.

You will assess adults and older Australians in their homes, provide recommendations, and collaborate with families and health professionals. Flexible full-time or part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with AHPRA are required.
• Current driver's licence is essential.
• Ability to work independently in the community while staying connected to the team.
• NDIS experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home environment and functional assessments in adults and older adults.
• Recommend home modifications and assistive technology based on needs.
• Prepare clinical reports and funding recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients, families, Care Managers, suppliers and health professionals.
• Manage caseloads and maintain high-quality documentation.
