Job summary

Junee District Hospital in rural NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute teams on a 12-week contract. The role is in-charge, drawing on your clinical expertise across emergency, acute, and medical-surgical settings.

You will lead triage and clinical decision-making within a supportive team, with autonomy to manage patient flow in a high-acuity ED environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Experience in emergency department, acute, medical-surgical, or aged care nursing.
• In-charge experience leading a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Take in-charge responsibility in a high-acuity ED and acute setting.
• Lead triage and clinical decision-making within a busy department.
• Support a regional hospital team with autonomous patient flow management.
