Accenture PLC is seeking an Implementation Manager based in Melbourne to blend traditional media expertise with AI-driven delivery. You will lead end-to-end media campaigns, briefing partners, managing budgets and ensuring campaign goals and value are delivered while embedding best-practice processes.

You will evolve from hands-on media buying to guiding AI agents, with a focus on offline channels (TV, radio, OOH) and strong analytical, planning, negotiation and cross-functional collaboration

Purpose of the Role

The Implementation Manager role requires someone with a balance of established traditional media practices and a genuine hunger and enthusiasm for AI and technology. The role involves managing budgets, ensuring campaign goals and value are delivered, adhering to best-practice standards and helping define strong implementation processes. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of media experience, with a particular focus on offline media buying, who can play a key role in managing campaigns end-to-end. This includes briefing media partners and consolidating responses into recommendation packs. Experience using SMD is important, and experience buying TV is preferred. Critically, this role will also evolve from managing and developing junior team members to increasingly managing AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and optimise media buying activities across various channels and platforms to achieve campaign goals and deliver value.
• Assist in the management and deployment of AI agents across the implementation process.
• Implement media buys in alignment with best-practice guidelines and established processes.
• Perform in-flight and post-campaign media optimisations to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Reconcile media buys as required, ensuring alignment with media finance processes.
• Manage media buys, including briefing media partners and consolidating responses into recommendation packs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of media campaigns.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Help manage junior and support members of the team, building their media buying capability and supporting their career development.
• Build strong relationships across the media partner market to help bring big ideas to life and drive value for clients.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of media buying experience, with a strong focus on offline media such as TV, radio and out-of-home advertising.
• Proven experience managing media buys and working directly with media partners.
• Experience using SMD.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with media finance processes and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with media buying tools and platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• An ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of traditional and digital media buying practices.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging media buying trends.
• Experience buying TV.
