Job summary

APM Group is seeking a Speech Pathologist for our Toowoomba clinic to support children and families across therapy, assessment, and program development. You will work within a multidisciplinary allied health team, delivering services in clinic, home, school, and community settings.

You will apply solution-focused approaches, engage with families and other professionals, and maintain high standards of privacy and documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention.
• Ability to adapt services to meet individual needs.
• Proven ability to engage with children, families and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent observational and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete assessments appropriate for each client.
• Manage a discipline-specific caseload, including complex clients, using a case management approach.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust tailored therapy programs aligned to client goals.
• Deliver services across clinic, home, school and community settings as required.
• Collaborate with allied health team members to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Develop and deliver specialised programs such as group therapy and parent workshops.
• Maintain strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Ensure practice remains aligned with current best practice and contribute to continuous service improvement.
