Wellington Secondary College, a large state secondary college in south east Melbourne, is seeking a classroom teacher for Years 7–12. The college serves around 1,500 students with a strong international program and a culture of literacy and numeracy across the school.

The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve targeted student outcomes. You will apply high-impact strategies, monitor progress with data, and collaborate with staff, students and families to support learner

Qualificações

• Knowledge of relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating student growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and communicate progress to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflection to improve teaching quality.
