NSW Department of Education is seeking a School Counsellor at Leeton High School to provide counselling and psychological assessment for students, supporting learning and wellbeing. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, engage with families, and contribute to school strategies.

The role offers regular professional supervision, opportunities across primary and high school ages, and access to professional development and rural incentives.

Formación

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
• Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with schools, families and external agencies to support learning and wellbeing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide counselling and psychological assessment to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to interpret findings and plan interventions.
• Engage with multiple school communities, with supervision and professional development.
