Zusammenfassung

Reconciliation Australia is seeking a Communications Officer in Sydney's Surry Hills to support the Communications and Engagement team. You will champion reconciliation, help plan and produce digital content, and support ongoing campaigns across the organisation.

The role requires experience in communications or marketing, proficiency with MS 365, Canva, WordPress, and a strong writing style to communicate with diverse Australian audiences. You will report to the Communications Manager.

Qualifikationen

• A demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and issues.
• Experience with design, publishing and digital content production as part of an organisational communications team.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Canva, Acrobat Pro and/or other design/production software, and project management tools.
• Experience with website content management platforms including WordPress.
• Understanding of accessibility and user experience (UX) principles.
• Strong written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good time management and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians.
