Job summary

Reconciliation Australia is seeking a Communications Officer to join the Communications and Engagement team in Sydney. The role champions reconciliation and contributes to both daily work and project planning under the supervision of the Communications Manager.

You will bring experience in communications, digital content production, and design tools, including WordPress, Canva, and Microsoft 365, and demonstrate strong writing and time management skills to support cross‑team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
• Experience producing digital content for communications teams.
• Experience with WordPress and design tools.
• Strong written communication and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and project work within Communications and Engagement.
• Develop digital content with accessibility and UX in mind.
• Coordinate with cross‑team partners to champion reconciliation.
• Prepare materials addressing selection criteria.
