Job summary

NewDoc is seeking a Business Analyst (Product) for its digital health platform. You will connect clinical, operational and administrative users with the platform team, turning requirements into clear specs and prioritising the backlog to ensure useful releases.

Responsibilities include writing user stories, analyzing processes, owning the backlog, coordinating releases, and validating integrations with external systems like Medicare and health records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, data, or related field.
• At least 12 months in business analysis or related role.
• Experience writing requirements, user stories and test cases in an agile environment.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with health technology or sensitive data platforms is an advantage.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Consult clinicians, operations staff and administrators to identify and document requirements.
• Write user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse and map current and proposed business processes and data flows.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog, and agree priorities with the executive team.
• Work with developers, designers and external vendors so requirements are understood and delivered.
• Plan and coordinate releases, including user acceptance testing and test cases.
• Analyse platform usage data and user feedback to find improvements.
• Document requirements for integrations with external systems such as Medicare, billing, pathology and health records.
