Job summary

CareMonitor seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive efficient operations by analyzing product requirements and data, articulating processes, and developing requirement specifications based on customer discussions.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Solutions Management to document workflows, interfaces, and algorithms, while supporting releases and QA planning in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years working with healthcare informatics products.
• Tertiary qualifications in technical/clinical field.
• SaaS experience desirable.
• Integration expertise HL7, FHIR, EDI, and flat files desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for CareMonitor clinical product and support existing customers.
• Document standard and edge-case user workflows, configurations, interfaces, and system functionality.
• Document underlying algorithms with engineering.
• Write user stories and manage priorities with the engineering team.
• Input into sprint prioritization and cross-functional product releases.
• Move interfaces under code control and assist in new functionality ideation.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Develop user acceptance criteria and QA test plans.
• Conduct data mapping and validation.
• Create release notes and communicate with CareMonitor users.

Job description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will drive efficient operations within a line of business by analyzing product requirements and data to provide business insight. You will be responsible for articulating key process flows to stakeholders, describing and manipulating data sets, sources, and structures, and gathering requirements and managing multiple inputs and priorities. As a team member, you will align business needs with the systems we offer and develop requirement specifications based on the discussions with our customers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for CareMonitor clinical product, helping to sustain the current customer base.
• Work with Product Management to document standard and edge-case user workflows, custom configurations and interfaces, and system functionality.
• Work with engineering to document underlying algorithms in CareMonitor.
• Write user stories and manage priorities with the engineering team.
• Provide input into prioritization for multiple sprints.
• Collaborate with Solutions Management and Product Management to define and execute product releases.
• Help move interfaces under code control.
• Assist in ideation for new functionality and interfaces as new customer requirements are identified.
• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional team members and management.
• Assist in developing user acceptance criteria and QA test plans.
• Conduct data mapping and validation.
• Create release notes and communicate with CareMonitor users.

• Integration expertise using HL7, FHIR, EDI, and Flat Files desirable.
• Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and balancing competing needs.
• You possess strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in delivering projects from analysis phase through to implementation phase.
• Experience working in an iterative fashion, following an agile development framework.
