Job summary

Kmart Group is seeking an experienced Compliance & Privacy Specialist to strengthen privacy and compliance programs across Australia’s large retail group. You will partner with business leaders to drive privacy compliance, support data protection initiatives, and ensure practical governance frameworks.

You’ll work within Risk & Compliance, touching privacy, consumer law, product safety and regulatory compliance while helping protect customer trust daily.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in privacy, compliance, risk, governance or assurance roles.
Strong working knowledge of privacy legislation, data protection principles and privacy risk management frameworks.
Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and advising stakeholders on privacy-related risks and obligations.

Responsibilities

Support and enhance privacy and compliance practices across the business.
Lead Privacy Impact Assessments across key projects and changes.
Provide practical advice on privacy, data protection and compliance obligations.
