Job summary

APM is seeking an Employment Consultant to support people with disability in securing employment, blending people skills with employer engagement in Armidale and across NSW. Based in Armidale with regular outreach to Tenterfield (three days every fortnight), you will help participants become job-ready, market candidates to employers and build sustainable pathways for employment.

The role offers a base salary plus performance-based incentives, plus ongoing training and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, or customer-facing roles.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and willingness to complete assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to become job-ready and connect them with employment opportunities.
• Actively market candidates to employers and generate job opportunities.
• Build relationships with local businesses to create sustainable employment pathways.
• Balance people support with proactive employer engagement to deliver outcomes.
• Drive employment results by advocating for participants and securing placements.
• Develop a strong pipeline of employers and identify new job opportunities.
