APM Employment Services in Armidale, NSW, is seeking an Employment Consultant to help people with disability secure meaningful, sustainable work that can change their lives.

Based in Armidale with regular outreach to Tenterfield, you will balance people support with sales and employer engagement, building lasting relationships with local businesses.

This role sits within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program, offering growth, training, and the chance to make a real difference every day.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, or customer-facing roles.
• Passion for helping people overcome barriers and succeed.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants to understand their employment goals and support them toward success.
• Coach participants to be job-ready, competitive, and interview confident.
• Assist participants with resumes, interview preparation, job search strategies and access to training/upskilling.
• Drive employment outcomes by advocating for participants to employers and securing placements.
• Generate new opportunities through employer engagement and outreach to employers.
• Maintain and grow employer relationships to drive ongoing vacancies and repeat business.
• Track progress toward employment outcomes and ensure compliance with program requirements.
