Job summary

APM is seeking an Employment Consultant for the Lismore, NSW site within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program. You will combine people support with sales, relationship building and administration to create meaningful employment opportunities for participants.

You will actively market candidates to employers, build strong local business relationships and drive employment outcomes, with KPI targets and opportunities for career development within our global network.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• A MyGovID (Standard level).
• Willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
• Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants to understand employment goals and position them for success.
• Coach participants to be job-ready, competitive, and interview confident.
• Assist participants with resumes, interview prep, job search strategies and access to training.
• Drive employment outcomes by advocating for participants with employers.
• Generate new employment opportunities through employer visits and outreach.
• Grow a pipeline of employers to convert opportunities into placements.
• Identify hidden job opportunities through proactive business development.
• Pitch candidates to meet employer needs and promote inclusive recruitment.
