Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare, cook and present high-quality meals for residents and customers, in line with production schedules and HACCP standards.

You will support a collaborative kitchen, lead by example, maintain food safety and quality, and help deliver outstanding dining experiences. A Commercial Cookery Certificate and a minimum of four years' hospitality experience are preferred, with strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years' experience within hospitality, catering or food production environments.
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared, handled and stored safely in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Ensure production and distribution deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
