Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Cook (Casual) to join our busy Woolooware Shores café, delivering quality meals for residents and cafe guests. You will prepare meals to approved menus, maintain food safety standards, manage stock, and support service delivery with a friendly, client‑focussed approach.

Applicants should have commercial kitchen experience, sound food safety knowledge, and the ability to follow structured recipes. A Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments.
• Sound knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Ability to follow structured recipes and food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present quality meals in accordance with approved menus and recipes.
• Maintain food safety, HACCP, and WHS standards.
• Manage stock rotation, stock control, and assist with ordering.
• Support café and function service delivery as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Follow operational procedures, policies, and instructions from management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
