Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning/high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and policy implementation.
• Undertake parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Participate in non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
• Mentor and support student teachers and junior staff.
