Job summary

NACCHO Australia is seeking a Project Officer, Immunisations to work with the Immunisation Team and ACCHO Sector, coordinating grants, delivering training and supporting immunisation programs to improve national coverage among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and culturally informed program delivery in a fast paced, purpose-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in project management, policy and/or relevant work experience are highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the management and delivery of sector grants, including assisting to develop grant guidelines and agreements; manage funding agreements and associated reporting on project outcomes.
• Assist in the delivery of immunisation training, mentoring and education tailored to the needs of the ACCHO Sector.
• Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including ACCHOs, Affiliates, peak bodies and Governments to support established project objectives.
• Prepare project grant reports, discussion papers, and briefs.
