Job summary

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) seeks a Project Officer, Program Support, Social Science and Education to coordinate projects within NCIRS and our education programs. You will support resources development, stakeholder engagement and timely delivery of educational materials across NSW Health immunisation initiatives.

The role requires strong project coordination, administrative and communication skills, with experience in health or public sector settings.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project coordination, health administration, education, or a related field, with demonstrated ability to support the delivery of projects in a complex health, research or public sector environment.
• Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and deliver high-quality outcomes within competing priorities and deadlines.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing project documentation, reports, educational materials and stakeholder communications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate and maintain resources and educational materials, ensuring accuracy, quality and alignment with stakeholder and organisational requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly developed administrative and information management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience maintaining project records, databases and reporting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving and sound judgement, with a commitment to continuous improvement, customer service and achieving organisational goals
• Demonstrate a culture of quality and patient safety in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, timelines and deliverables for NCIRS resources and education programs.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate development and dissemination of educational resources and materials.
• Contribute to project governance, reporting and continuous improvement across NCIRS and external partners.
