Job summary

Real Response Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced emergency professional to join as a Simulation-Based First Aid Trainer.

This role involves delivering immersive, hands-on training across Australia, using realistic simulations to prepare participants for real emergencies. Travel to client sites, adapt delivery to diverse audiences, and explore opportunities to expand into related areas like fire safety or tactical medicine.

Qualifications

• Experience in paramedic, emergency nurse, firefighter, military medic or similar emergency response role.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for diverse groups of learners.
• Professional, learner-focused approach with interest in developing practical skills.
• Knowledge of emergency response principles and first aid protocols.
• Ability to adapt teaching style to learners and environments.
• Strong organisational skills for preparation, time management and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently at client sites while collaborating with a broader team.
• Confidence using digital tools and training resources.

Responsibilities

• Deliver immersive, nationally recognised courses using realistic simulations and hands-on activities.
• Share real-world experience to help participants develop skills and confidence to respond in emergencies.
• Travel across the city to deliver training at client locations; comfortable with regular travel.
• Create engaging learning experiences and adapt delivery to different audiences.
• Join a supportive team with access to training, equipment and ongoing support.
• Expand skills into electrical rescue, fire safety, tactical medicine or mental health training as appropriate.
• Accept optional interstate training opportunities to broaden experience.
