Job summary

HTR Group is seeking an ILS / Transition Manager for a Defence sector contract based at Garden Island, Sydney. The role focuses on integrated logistics support, transition management, and ongoing coordination with shipyards and stakeholders.

The contract runs for an initial 10 months with possible extensions; security clearance (AGSVA Level 3) and defence/shipyard experience are mandatory. Flexible hours and remote work where possible are available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics planning and coordination for transfer activities.
• Lead transition management across programmes and teams.
• Manage supply chain and inventory control relevant to shipyard operations.
• Provide shipyard support and liaison with stakeholders.
• Engage key stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.

We have a current opportunity for an ILS / Transition Manager, on a contract basis within the Defence sector. The role is based in Garden Island, Sydney. The contract is for an initial 10 month period, with possible extension options.

DSS Skill Set: Level 3 - Integrated Logistics Support Management

The ILS Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

• Logistics Planning and Coordination
• Transition management
• Supply Chain and Inventory Management
• Shipyard Support
• Stakeholder Engagement

Minimum mandatory requirements:

• AGSVA Security Clearance
• Defence experience
• ILS Experience
• Shipyard experience
