Job summary

Randstad Defence in Canberra is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead to coordinate and deliver ILS requirements on Australian Defence projects.

The ideal candidate will identify logistics needs, update ILS documents, deliver on project commitments and conduct support analyses to ensure lifecycle product support, while liaising with Commonwealth stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical or electrical discipline and/or ILS related qualifications.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience leading an ILS team in a Defence environment.
• Understanding of defence Systems Engineering lifecycle and how Logistics Engineering fits within Systems Engineering processes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the project’s Logistic requirements are identified, captured and allocated to resources.
• Review and update ILS technical documents such as Integrated Support plans, Codification data, Technical Data lists.
• Manage the delivery of all Logistic requirements for the allocated Project and engage with the customer to ensure Customer Acceptance.
• Undertake product support analyses such as FMECA, LORA, RCM, and LSAR to ensure effective product support across its lifecycle.
• Liaise with the Commonwealth (CoA) for ILS related activities.

Randstad Defence is proud to support and partner with a sovereign defence technology company based in Canberra who are looking for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead to support coordination and delivery of all ILS requirements relating to their Australian Defence projects and other projects as required.

As an ILS team Lead, you will:

• Ensure that all the project’s Logistic requirements are identified, captured and allocated to appropriate resources
• Review and update ILS technical documents as required, e.g Integrated Support plans, Codification data, Technical Data lists.
• Manage the delivery of all Logistic requirements for the allocated Project and engage with the customer to ensure Customer Acceptance.
• Undertake product support analysis techniques such as Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) to ensure effective product support throughout its lifecycle.
• Liaise with stakeholders in the Commonwealth (CoA) for ILS related activities.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical or electrical discipline and/or ILS related qualifications.
• Ideally 3 plus years of experience leading an ILS team in a Defence environment.
• Understanding of defence Systems Engineering lifecycle and how Logistics Engineering fits within Systems Engineering processes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

The candidate must be an Australian citizen, and must be eligible to get a Baseline security clearance as a minimum.
