Job summary

Randstad Digital in Canberra is seeking an experienced System Administrator for a 6-month initial contract with 18-month extension options. The role is Canberra-based with a hybrid work arrangement. A Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, plus 5+ years in system administration, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
• Minimum of five years of experience in system administration.
• Proven experience in Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Solid knowledge of network architectures, configurations, protocols, and security.
• Experience working with backup storage technologies – such as Commvault, SkyKick & Veeam
• Experience with Windows SCCM, Group Policy, Intune, and Autopilot.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Manage network configurations, security, and monitoring.
• Administer SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, and Group Policy.
• Work with backup storage technologies (Commvault, SkyKick, Veeam).
