Job summary

Randstad Digital Australia is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator for a 6-month initial contract with an 18-month extension option. The role is Canberra-based with a hybrid working arrangement and requires Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain it. Australian citizens only.

A strong background in Linux/Windows Server, networking, and backup technologies is essential. Experience with SCCM, Intune, and scripting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT.
• Minimum five years of system administration experience.
• Proven Linux and Windows Server administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of networks, configurations, protocols, and security.
• Experience with backup storage technologies – Commvault, SkyKick & Veeam.
• SCCM, Group Policy, Intune, and Autopilot experience desirable.
• Scripting knowledge in Python or PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Manage network architectures, configurations, and security.
• Work with backup storage technologies (Commvault, SkyKick, Veeam).
• Handle SCCM, Group Policy, Intune, and Autopilot configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects.
