Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of application and infrastructure projects. You will work across Cloud, Networks, Servers and Cyber Security environments, translating business requirements into clear delivery outcomes.

You will coordinate multiple technical teams and vendors, manage budgets, governance and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to required quality standards.

ICT Project Manager – Applications & Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager – Applications & Infrastructure to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects across application, infrastructure and enterprise technology environments.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initiation and planning through to implementation and closure, working closely with technology teams, vendors, business stakeholders and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and security standards.

This role requires a strong understanding of both application delivery and infrastructure environments, with the ability to work across technical teams and translate business requirements into clear delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of application and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish appropriate project governance, reporting and delivery controls.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality expectations.
• Manage project documentation, reporting and project closure activities.

Application Delivery

• Manage projects involving the implementation, enhancement, integration or migration of business applications.
• Work closely with Application Development, Architecture, Cyber Security, Testing and Business teams.
• Coordinate application releases, testing, deployment and transition into operational support.
• Manage application vendors, implementation partners and third‑party providers.
• Ensure application projects consider integration, data, security, performance and operational requirements.

Infrastructure Delivery

• Lead infrastructure projects across areas such as Cloud, Networks, Servers, Storage, End-User Computing, Data Centres and Technology Platforms.
• Coordinate Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Cyber Security and Service Management teams.
• Manage infrastructure upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes and platform implementations.
• Coordinate technical dependencies and implementation activities across multiple technology teams.
• Ensure appropriate transition, support and operational readiness activities are completed.

About YouYou will be an experienced Technology Project Manager with a strong track record delivering complex application and/or infrastructure projects.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects.
• Strong application and infrastructure project delivery experience.
• Experience working across Cloud, Infrastructure, Networks, Applications and Cyber Security environments.
• Strong understanding of technology delivery methodologies and project governance.
• Experience managing multiple technical teams and vendors.

QualificationsRelevant qualifications in Project Management, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline are desirable.
