Job summary

Infinity Commercial Furniture in New South Wales is seeking an ICT Business Analyst to bridge finance, operations and Sales, shaping how the business runs day to day as part of an ERP transformation using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You will gather requirements, configure and test new functionality, support data reporting with Excel/SQL/Power BI, and drive process improvements with stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field (Post-Graduate degrees are highly regarded).
• Finance background with experience in AP/AR, reconciliation, budgeting or reporting.
• Hands-on experience implementing or configuring a new ERP system (full lifecycle).
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong business process analysis, problem-solving and requirements-gathering skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) is highly regarded.

About the Role

We're looking for an ICT Business Analyst to join our growing technology team and help shape how our business runs day to day. This is a hands‑on, business‑facing role where you'll bridge the gap between our finance, operations and Sales teams — translating business needs into practical, well‑implemented system solutions. You'll play a key role in our upcoming ERP transformation, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Service to gather requirements, configure and test new functionality, and ensure a smooth transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Business partnering: Working with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales and Customer Service to understand requirements, identify issues and prioritise improvements.
• ERP implementation: Supporting the end‑to‑end implementation of Microsoft Business Central — from requirements gathering and process mapping through to configuration, data migration, testing and go‑live.
• Finance process alignment: Applying your finance background to ensure new systems and workflows support accurate reporting, reconciliation, and financial controls.
• Process & workflow improvement: Analysing existing business processes and designing improved, standardised workflows and approvals within the new ERP environment.
• Systems support: Providing day‑to‑day support for Business Central and related business applications, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with IT and vendors.
• Data & reporting: Analysing business data, investigating discrepancies, and supporting reporting and decision‑making using tools such as Excel, SQL or Power BI.
• Testing & change management: Coordinating user acceptance testing, documentation, training and communication to ensure the business successfully adopts new solutions.
• Stakeholder & vendor management: Liaising with implementation partners, vendors and internal teams to keep the project on track and issues resolved quickly.

About You

• 2+ years' experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field (or equivalent experience); Post-Graduate degree are highly regarded Tertiary qualifications or BA/Agile certifications (IIBA, CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, PSM) are a bonus.
• A finance background — this could be a degree, prior role, or hands‑on experience with financial processes such as AP/AR, reconciliation, budgeting or reporting.
• Hands‑on experience implementing or configuring a new ERP system (full lifecycle: requirements, configuration, testing, go‑live and post‑launch support).
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong business process analysis, problem‑solving and requirements‑gathering skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, practical technology solutions.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) is highly regarded.
• A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and genuine interest in improving how a business operates.
